Pillow Combination Ideas For A King & Queen Bed

These are my go to pillow combinations for a king and queen bed.

There are two main components that will make your decorative pillows look “magazine -worthy”

1. The size of the pillow and the type of pillow insert you choose.

2. The right kind of pillow insert is crucial.

I highly recommend a feather-down pillow or some type of down alternative. Feather-down inserts make your pillows look high end and they are very comfortable too. You can find affordable feather-down inserts basically anywhere. I will provide some links to feather down pillows for you.

Remember, everything does not have to match. I like to incorporate solids, patterns, and textures in my pillow combinations. For example, in the visual above, I used a charcoal stripe pillow in the back, a solid cream linen pillow, and for “texture" I used a leather pillow.
